Muffins are usually served at tea time, and a plate of muffins and hot tea is the ultimate treat in a casual afternoon. To keep your hands clean and to keep food evenly heated during baking, muffins and muffin paper baking cups are a great match. Muffins have a thicker batter than cupcake batter and often contain fillings, such as blueberries and chocolate. The palm-sized treat is more like a cupcake without the frosting and contains less sugar.

Baking paper cups are often used during the baking process as they are oil-proof and durable enough to maintain structure when a thick batter is poured into the cup. The purpose of baking muffins in cups is to make the cake easier to take out and eat. When baking cupcakes or muffins, you will need to use a baking cup to scoop the mixture into. While the cups look simple, they come in a variety of colors, designs and sizes. By using a more decorative set, they can turn a very ordinary set of cupcakes into an elegant display.
Unlike cupcakes and cakes, muffins only take about 30 minutes to bake. Be careful not to overmix the batter as it will create a hard muffin. All you need to do is mix the dry and wet ingredients well in two separate bowls, then slowly fold the dry ingredients together. Place the cups in a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated 200 degrees Celsius oven, depending on muffin size and recipe.
To check that the cake is fully cooked, dip the toothpick into the center of the cake, or if the toothpick is clean, bake evenly. Otherwise, return the pan to the oven and bake for another 5-10 minutes. Once done, let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before removing them from the pan -- this will allow the muffins to hold their shape. Best served with a hot cup of tea.

  Different paper baking cups
The standard type is made from plain white paper. It is best to look for examples made from unbleached white paper to ensure minimal environmental impact. They may also be made of silicone, giving you a more durable, longer-life product. To make your cupcakes even more exciting to serve for your kids, you may decide to use colored baking cups. There may be a favorite color that is preferred, or there may be several colors that make sense to them, such as team or school colors.
More interesting are the types printed with special designs. This may give you the opportunity to use your child's favorite animal, cartoon character or sport as a feature design. Or you may decide to use Halloween or Christmas toasts to celebrate the season. Special occasions such as weddings or anniversaries may give you the opportunity to use silver or gold foil toasting cups and showcase your cupcakes for afternoon tea or dessert. This simple gadget can bring otherwise unnoticed snacks to life in a variety of ways and turn them into special displays or memorable moments for your child. Of course, they won't make the cake taste any different, but they will certainly make it more interesting to look at.

Muffin paper baking cups can be used in many different ways, whether during a leisurely afternoon tea break or at some party events, and come in a variety of sizes, giving you the option to use them for either large muffins or small cupcakes. Using mini baking cups with special designs and placing them together on a tray will create unusual decorative features.
